    Hello!I am a music teacher from China. I am currently writing a paper on the use of a cappella in primary school classrooms.I saw your RUclips video and wanted to know how you use a cappella in primary school classrooms.Is there a specific course on a cappella? How do you make primary school students understand a cappella? Is there a cappella choir, cappella competition, cappella festival, cappella workshop, cappella course?By the way, cappella refers to singing without accompaniment.It is singing without accompaniment by a single person.I hope to get your reply. Thank you!

    The UK has a visa waiver agreement with the EU, it's in the TCA, but visa waiver does not apply to paid activities with any country with a visa waiver agreement. Secondly, the 90/180 day applies to British citizens who have a residence permit in an EU country in the sense that they are not allowed to work without a work permit in other EU countries other than the one that they have the permit for. That is, third country nationals do not have freedom of movement, only a permission to live and work in one.

    Mark Phillips and Mr Hammerton have since 2013 been aware of a music course that can rectify the way music is taught in schools. They have simply sided with every Music Hub to deliberately fail every child and school music teacher in every school so they can use both fraud and deception to obtain £1bn in funding. School music teachers and some Headteachers have been given direct orders to fail every child in their school in music education. If you disagree would you be interested in arranging a meeting and take a look at the evidence. Mark Phillips now wants what I was teaching in primary education in 2009 now taught in schools - He clearly states this in this video. If school music teachers could teach the contents of the school music curriculum in the school music classroom - There would not have been a introduction of the the 'National Plan for Music' and a public call for evidence to rectify this problem in 2010 & 2019. Why diid Ofsted publish in 2008 that music taught in schools was 'inadequate then in 2013 1 year after the introduction of the National Plan for Music state music now taught in schools was both 'Meagre & inadequate' Mr Hammerton & Mark Phillips must have watched the video I sent them in late October 2013. That is how they reached there conclusions. This video proves everything that I have stated from day 1 and proves that Ofsted are in on this fraud and have always lied to school music teachers to help protect the fraud carried out by the Music Hubs. I am now copying this video for evidence that both Ofsted & the Music Hubs are using fraud. I have letters from Ofsted sent in 2013 and 2014 - In 2015 Mr Hammerton attempts to get school music teachers to design a music curriculum. Why when they are aware that I developed one in 2009 and submitted it in 2010 as part of the call for evidence. Kind regards -- Mr Peck

    Thank you for this video. Many Dyslexics play by ear: Eric Clapton, Prince, Lionel Richie, and Hendrix all play by ear. The lack of confidence is due to bad education, not Dyslexia. ☺️ Give children the right environment, and an excellent teacher, that child will shine. 46:00 "No one walks in and becomes a teacher because they want to damage children" what? hello? Totally wrong, really naive. Look up any common behavior of now a bully operates and their motives, that is exactly what they do. Obviously you're speaking about the 98% of moral people but what's the talk for, if not to pinpoint those 2% who need to be taken out of the profession completely, or maybe about 10-15% of those in a gray area who literally 'Sometimes Do Purposely Walk In with a mood to Damage Others'. just don't be so naive and self-serving in these blanket statements assuming everyone is somehow internally aligned towards doing the right thing..because they are NOT.

    The currently popular music school franchises like 'rock band schools', have mandatory contracts which must be signed by all students, eliminating liability to hearing damage from the school. Know why? Because those music school franchises literally cause permanent hearing damage. They encourage students to turn up their amps on their electric instruments, they do not teach band listening skills, they do not monitor audio levels during rehearsals or practice or concerts, they encourage rock drummer students to "hit the drums as hard as possible". They do not train instructors in audiology. I complained to a local school about these problems and my complaint reached the multi-state district manager, who said, "Corporate won't care or listen unless lawyers are involved." Always about the $$$. It is unavoidable that all of these 'schools' are permanently destroying the ears of their students especially young students, pre-teen and teen.

The bit that was missed out that you might want to try as you re-watch it is that I suggested that you make the corners of your mouth move towards your ears (and return) a few times and notice if you felt this anywhere else in yourself, or if it evoked any sense of emotional change...

    It will sort the wheat from the chaff will stop new bands touring pretending to be bigger than they are, it will also make musician run their bands as business and maybe venues will start paying. As soon as a band starts running as a business they can claim back all expenses, instrument & amp costs, merchandise costs off their tax. Bands need to make it at home and earn their stripes before trying to make it abroad. Let's face it low key bands play for nothing abroad they do it for exposure and they dont really sell anything that can warrant paying much tax on

    Nonsense, both European and UK musicians were touring the world long before the EU, long before the EEC became the EU even, and will remain doing so long after Brexit is done and dusted. American bands tour the UK and EU, regularly they are a seperate state, do they have visa problems?

    • @TejasM14
      @TejasM14 4 года назад

      It is not that musicians can't travel. My understanding is that under the scenario of a no deal Brexit there is a lot of cost incurred in the visa process in terms of documentation, time and fees. Musicians by their very nature are bound to travel a lot. These various costs would absolutely make it a harder process and hit musicians.

    To me, the most wonderful thing is, Emma Kirkby can teach a female soprano not to oversing a piece in an hour flat. The first singer starts out like she's singing Wagner, and by the end sounds a quite passable baroque singer. I wish Dame Kirkby could now haul all of the other sopranos to this class and teach them the same thing. With most, their excessive vibrato is positively ear shattering.
